Changing seasons

Fall is fast approaching, and although we have had an excellent summer here in the Ozarks, (I can’t remember a wetter, greener summer in MO).  But since this is after all, Missouri, we don’t have any idea what type of weather to expect this winter.  For those of us that annually cut wood for heat, either because we enjoy it, or because we are trying to save a little money, it is time to breakout the chain saws and splitting mauls. For those of us that enjoy this season, one small mistake with the chainsaw can create a disastrous consequence, so please be careful when running equipment.  Every year I get older, and just a little bit slower, thus making me more prong to accidents.
